“I invite you to join me and the Royal Subjects who live here. You might feel the most comfortable here and energized if you like the same things I do. Or maybe you are visiting here to learn about someone else in your life. Well, we are wonderful folks from The Family of Introvert--meaning we get energy from inside ourselves--internally. The Royal Observatory is also located on the Thinking side of Decision Drive.

"We are the Harmony Heroes, four Purrsonality leopards who are the most sought-after singing quartet in all the land!

“I’m Sky, an Ace of Excellence for The Royal Observatory. I thrive as the Royal Wizard of this pristine, important observatory. Being a leopard, I am on the prowl all the time for interesting and meaningful projects to tackle--like being in charge of all the finances for the Royal Festival of Harmony every year. I am the most sensitive and some say, the most wise of all the Aces of Excellence.

“Many of the Royal Subjects here are long-term thinkers in charge of very precise projects like creating new inventions that take a lot of time and patience. In fact, I have the most patience of all. Some are medical researchers, computer gurus, entrepreneurs (who never give up,) presidents, engineers, and other important precise careers.

“You can recognize The Observatory when you get near it, as there is a Royal Welcome Sign that helps others remember our laws and how we like to do things. This is our Comfort Zone. Here are a few of the items. Speed: 47.5, Tempo/Andante--Tango, and Keep it Neat. Things we hate: Conflict, Public Speaking, Pushy People.

“I rarely leave my kingdom and have to do things another way, but when I do, I always look at the Royal Exit Sign to help me. These are some of the helpful items to remember: When leaving this kingdom remember that others like to do things at their speed and certain way. Speed Up; Don’t expect perfection in others; Speak Up!

“Last, but certainly not least, is something that I rarely have to address. But again, others have told me that under stress or just plain unawareness, I might turn into one of the Jack O’ Dragons of Defects, like Perfectooth and be a perfectionistic controller all the time. Most of the time, I’m very even-tempered. But under stress, I can turn into Perfectooth.

“To sum up, The Royal Observatory is a quiet, intense place with a few very focused things going on at one time. Please be quiet and respectful. Make decisions based on facts and thinking. Learn as much as possible, in how ever much time you need, and you will do just fine here. Sorry, I have to go to a meeting and I like to be there 15 minutes early. I’m glad I’m not in charge of this big presentation. However, I did do all the important research. Bye! Oh, and don’t forget to use some of my favorite words: you are perfect!”

WHAT TO EXPECT from The Royal Observatory: they may be cautious, slow to make decisions, very thoughtful, honor-bound, and precise. Expect them to be early to an event, and will feel late if they are exactly "on time." Expect them to move very slowly in many matters of their life. When they love, they love deeply. They will be very private with all but the closest people to them. They will NEED quiet time, alone, to replenish their "Energy Coins." They can have an intellectual dry sense of humor.

Personality-Ville Points to Ponder: Strengths, when taken to the extreme, become Dragons of Defects.

Possible Dragons of Defects: "Perfectooth" can be perfectionistic with themselves and others. They can be overly sensitive at times (to them it is NOT overly sensitive). They can tend to have "paralysis by analysis": they get caught up in the planning and not so much in the execution. May need others to get them out at times.

More details about my full name: Sky TangoThinker

"Sky TangoThinker™ here. (Introvert-Thinking) I love to work in my Royal Observatory Studio with just a few quality projects. If you want it done right, call me. If you want it done right away, maybe call one of the other Purrsonalities® like Blaze SalsaSinger.

"I was named Sky TangoThinker because just like intense tango dancers, I am more serious, precise, and love to look 'perfect.' I am usually slow to get to know, but have very deep thoughts and feelings that I might share with just a few close friends.

"In the DISC system, I would become a 'C' Cautious; in the traditional Greek terms, a Melancholy, or an Analytical. That's why I live in Cautious Country."

Sky TangoThinker

Sky TangoThinker means: "Sky," like the cool blue night sky with the vast universe; "Tango," for the preferred internal tempo; "Thinker," as to a preference in decision making.

The tango dance comes from Argentina and has several variations. All have in common intense, sometimes slow, cautious movements, accentuated by quick rigid body positions. When you watch them they are focused on each other, looking inward. Just like those introverted, detailed people we know. They, too are cautious, lower-energy, slow to make decisions, yet intense. There is a lot going on underneath that cool exterior, they don't show it to just anyone.
