“We are wonderful folks from The Family of Introvert, meaning we get energy from inside ourselves, internally. The Royal Cottage is also located on the Feeling side of Decision Drive.

“I’m Shamrock, an Ace of Excellence for The Royal Cottage. I thrive as the Royal Diplomat of this calm, nurturing cottage. I am usually the only kingdom that can "flex" for a short time, act "as if" I'm from another one. In other words, I can be adaptable to the situation if need be. I am a great team member who cares about people and the goals we want to accomplish.

Being a leopard, I am on the prowl all the time for meaningful projects to do, like being in the audience for the Royal Festival of Harmony every year. I am the most relaxed and have the least energy of all the Aces of Excellence, but I also have much more Patience than many of the other kingdoms.

“My Royal Cottage is in the country of Steadyshire. The Cottage, as it’s called for short, is all about our motto: Relax! I usually wouldn’t share this, but if you are like me, you really would prefer not to work too hard and just stay home quietly tending to your needs, and if it’s not too stressful, the needs of family and friends. I also am patient; however, being patient does cause me to spend my energy coins.

“Many of the Royal Subjects here are warm and friendly supporters of humanitarian projects, like watching PBS telethons. Some are anesthesiologists, receptionists, presidents, and have other important careers helping people. 

How: The Royal Medallion of Motivation (Relaxing)

“I like staying calm within a team. I also sing background harmony in our four-part harmony quartet. I love the background and being out of the spotlight; it just comes naturally. I just like to keep the peace within all of our team.

“You can recognize The Cottage when you get near it, as there is a Royal Welcome Sign that helps others remember our laws and how we like to do things. This is our Comfort Zone.

“I rarely leave my kingdom (my Comfort Zone) and have to do things another way, but when I do, I always look at the Royal Exit Sign to help me. These are some of the helpful items to remember: When leaving this kingdom, remember that others like to do things at their own speed and in their own way. Speed Up; Be Decisive; Speak Up for Yourself!

Why: Manage Dragons of Defects (Snoozoth)

“Last, but certainly not least, is something that I rarely have to address. But again, others have told me that under stress or just plain unawareness, I might turn into one of the Jack O’ Dragons of Defects! I don’t think I have one, but friends have said that I can turn into Snoozoth and be a sleeping dragon. Most of the time, I just get so tired of trying to be like everyone else who has more energy than me.

“To sum up, The Royal Cottage is a quiet, calm place with just a few things going on at any one time. Please be quiet and welcoming.  Make decisions based on feelings and how they might affect others. Relax as much as possible, for however much time you need, and you will do just fine here. Sorry, I forgot I have to go to a meeting, and I might be late! I’m glad I’m not in charge of this big presentation. (I’ll try and sit there quietly so we can get out of it as soon as possible.) Bye!
